Welcome to the City of Seven Points, Texas. I am honored to be the Mayor of this fine city, which is located on the West banks of beautiful Cedar Creek Lake in East Texas. Seven Points is a small quiet community that is perfect to live in or just visit for the weekend. Within the city we pride ourselves with some of the best restaurants in east Texas. I am proud to say, our Police Department as well as fire department takes pride in the service they provide the citizens as well as visitors to this great community. Our police department has just recently became a Department of Public Safety. With this name change it more clearly defines all the services our officers provide. The Seven Points Department of Public Safety officers are or will be trained in all phases of Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services as well as law enforcement. As the Mayor I believe in providing our emergency services departments state of the art equipment to better perform their jobs. In addition, as the Mayor I believe this city belongs to the citizens and I have started many new programs to give the citizens more chances to actively participate in the decision making within the local government.
